Jul. 1956 Beijing China Travel Service Co., Ltd. (BCTS) was founded was founded in 1956 under the care of former China 's Prime Minister Chow En-Lai.
Organized and Received foreigners, overseas Chinese as well as compatriots in Hong Kong and Macao to China for tour and visiting their families. Mao Tse-Tung, Chow En-Lai, Deng Xiao-Ping interviewed the guests received by BCTS many times.

Sep. 1974 Beijing China Travel Service was authorized by the Ministry of Public Security, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and Treasury Department as exclusive agency for Japanese born in China during WWII to visit relatives, reside and travel to Japan . Up to now, more than 40,000 cases were handled.

Jun. 1984 Mainland Chinese was permitted privately travel to Hong Kong and Macau for sight-seeing in 1984, and BCTS was licenses in the same year.

Mar. 1992 BCTS was rated as First-Class Travel Agency by National Tourism Administration Bureau.

1996 BCTS was honored to be one of the top 100 international travel agencies in China , and since then, BCTS has been appeared on the list every year.

1997 Authorized by National Tourism Admin istration Bureau, BCTS became one of the first agencies in China to organize Chinese citizens to travel abroad for private leisure purpose.
